I will graduate soon and am looking for the next opportunity.

I am a PhD candidate in the Massivizing Computer Systems group at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I investigate the design of cloud computing systems, particularly their resource management and fault tolerance subsystems.

For my PhD, I investigated the design of datacenter schedulers. What features must an ecosystem provide for certain scheduler designs to become feasible? What APIs, beyond simple allocation, do workloads need? What is the impact of realistic failures?

Due to amazing collaborators, I had the opportunity to be involved in various research and engineering projects. I worked on the Kubernetes container orchestrator, tracing serverless applications, Go and JSONPath compilers, and the reliability of LLM services.
